Mr. Kopchick’s practice focuses on business litigation, professional liability defense, appellate litigation, criminal defense, internal investigations and family law. Mr. Kopchick joined Haar & Woods, LLP in October 2014. Prior to joining Haar & Woods, LLP, Mr. Kopchick was an Associate in the Securities Litigation and White Collar Defense Group at Goodwin Procter, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Kopchick graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2011. While in law school, he spent two years as a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where he served as lead counsel in family law and administrative matters, and received the Betty Allebach Award honoring commitment and service to the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.  Mr. Kopchick also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University.

  • Represented plaintiff on appeal to attain affirmance of $25 million verdict in premises liability case.

  • Represented title insurer in appeal from jury verdict finding breach of title insurance policy.

  • Represented individuals and companies in commercial litigation and business disputes.

  • Represented multiple plaintiffs in lawsuits alleging civil rights violations while in state custody.
