PROFESSIONAL
PROFILE
Ms. Bindler's practice is in
civil and criminal litigation, including corporate, commercial
and employment disputes, white collar criminal defense, professional
liability defense, and insurance coverage defense. Other
matters have included class action litigation, environmental
litigation, securities arbitration and a dispute among shareholders
in a closely held corporation. Ms. Bindler has practiced
before the state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois
and has briefed and argued cases before the Eighth Circuit
Court of Appeals and the Missouri Court of Appeals. She is currently a member of the CJA lead Panel of Attorneys in the Eastern District of Missouri.

- Represented pharmaceutical manufacturer in contract dispute.
- Represented directors of a large privately-held corporation in dispute regarding corporate governance.
- Represented former CFO of Fortune 500 corporation
in defending criminal prosecution and related class action
litigation.
- Represented municipality in securities arbitration
proceeding challenging unauthorized investments of broker.
- Represented majority shareholders in breach
of fiduciary duty claim filed by minority shareholders of
bank holding company.
- Represented several individuals in conjunction
with grand jury investigations.
- Represented defendant in criminal prosecution
by State of Missouri challenging discipline used by faith-based
institution.
- Represented physicians and medical institution
in several different medical malpractice and wrongful death
actions, as well as a claim for libel and slander.
- Represented energy company in class action
litigation seeking to certify a class of property owners
adjacent to a 14,000-mile pipeline.
- Represented insurance company in coverage
dispute.
- Represented police officer in disciplinary
proceeding filed by Missouri Department of Public Safety.
- Represented coal company and chemical company
in employment litigation.
